Liaison Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Hive Network Platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our Platform. By using Hive Network, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, business name, location (city/state), and any other information you provide during the registration process.

Instagram Data: For creator accounts, we collect publicly available Instagram profile data including your handle, follower count, and profile photo. This data is fetched at registration and periodically refreshed to keep your profile current.

Content Submission Data: When creators submit content, we collect the URL of the published Instagram post along with associated engagement metrics (likes, comments, views) scraped from Instagram's public data.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps.

Campaign and Transaction Data: We record offer claims, redemptions, store credit amounts, and campaign activity to operate the Platform and provide analytics to businesses.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To facilitate campaigns and creator-business collaborations
• To verify creator eligibility and tier status
• To provide analytics and performance reporting to business accounts
• To send transactional communications (offer confirmations, status updates)
• To enforce our Terms of Service and Brand Terms
• To improve and develop the Platform

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Between platform users: Business accounts can see creator names, Instagram handles, follower counts, and submitted content as part of collaboration analytics. Creators can see basic business information for offers they claim.
• Service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication services, and third-party APIs to retrieve publicly available Instagram profile and post data. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Instagram Data

Hive Network retrieves publicly available Instagram data (profile photos, follower counts, post engagement metrics) using third-party scraping services. We only access data that is publicly visible on Instagram. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc.

If you believe we have collected your Instagram data in error, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).

Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure authentication via Supabase, and role-based access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
